If you want to LEAD, learn to LOVE.

We all want to see and meet and know people who are real. Christians and non-Christians alike want to see people who say what they mean and mean what they say.  We don’t have to look very far to find good teachers and preachers and leaders and experts who can tell us a great many things about anything we want to know.  But I think what we want even more is to find leaders who live out that message they preach.  We want to find leaders whose lives speak even louder than their words.

You as a Leader: What NOT to do

Published by handsfrozentothesword under Leadership

Before we go any further as leaders, we have to ask ourselves this question: Who will we serve? Will we lead to serve the crowd (the world) or will we lead to serve God?  Who will dictate why and where we lead — God or the world?  Who will we answer to — God or the crowd?  While the answer to this question seems obvious, it’s one thing to say and know the right answer and it’s another thing to live it.

You: A Leader in the Making

I wish I could have seen your reaction when you read that title.  Chances are, most of you are thinking that you’d never have what it takes to be a leader.  Yeah, right about now you’re probably pulling down that mental checklist that says:

  1. I’m not bold.
  2. I’m not loud.
  3. I’m not outgoing.
  4. I’ve never led anything.
  5. Even if I led something, it’d probably fail miserably.
  6. Who would listen to me?
  7. Who would want to follow me?
  8. I’m the one who needs to be led!
