En-Courage
If there’s one thing I want this site to accomplish, it’s for all of us to leave here more ENCOURAGED to face the difficult situations in our lives and, most of all, the one behind all of those hardships — satan. Did you notice what word rests inside of the word encourage? It’s the word courage. To encourage someone doesn’t mean we simply tell them nice, inspiring things. It means we put courage back in them. Anytime I find anything that will do exactly that, I’ll put it on here for us.

Gladiator is one of my favorite movies. And this clip illustrates what it is that I like about this movie and other war movies. It’s not the blood, the violence, the evil. It’s the way God uses them to show me what our spiritual battles ought to look like and how they ought to be fought. Not with fear, trembling and hiding — but with boldness, confidence and determination. A true warrior never shrinks back. We are not of those who fear. The time for half-measures and talk is over.

Marilyn Hickey
Heidi Baker
Nancy Alcorn
Joyce Meyer
Victoria Osteen
Lisa Bevere
Sarah Palin (Regardless of our political affiliations, I think this woman should be appreciated for her unchanging morals and character in the face of scrutiny.)

YOU SEE by Jonathan David Helser
This song is amazing. I’ve had it for over a year now and still, every time I hear it, my heart soars. Today I just stood in my room and closed my eyes and imagined each scene in my mind as the lyrics played. I came to this conclusion: I’m a long way off from seeing things as God sees them. And I’m not ok with that.
I see a mountain
You see a miracle
I see a wasteland
You see a garden
I see dry bones
You see an army
I see impossible
You see everything
I see a seed
You see a harvest
I see the water
You see the wine
I see the broken
You see Your body
I see my enemy
You see Your footstool
You are I AM, but I’ve
Been so blind all this time
My God, touch me, I want
To see the way that You see
I see my sins
You sin Your blood
I see a baby
You see a Saviour
I see my failures
You see redemption
I see a beggar
You see a son
I see my Father
You see Your son
I see a Shepherd
You see Your lamb
I see my Saviour
You see Your joy
I see Your eyes
Staring at mine
If you have a dollar or so to spare, I highly recommended downloading this song from iTunes. You won’t be sorry.

This video is comprised of a bunch of audio clips of Bill Johnson. I love and have learned to trust anything this man has to say. He is a man who KNOWS God and firmly stands on His Word.
